Women’s Golf
West Essex Women’s section is here to welcome and encourage new members. Our priority is about enjoying golf, whether it is for fun and fitness or competition. We are also delighted to have Megan Henry, our assistant trainee professional, to help us along and provide lessons. Megan also works in our well stocked pro shop.
There are Friendly roll ups most days and competitions on Tuesdays and Saturdays. These include a nine hole competition as we appreciate women have many time constraints. These competitions also suit beginners and we can arrange a ‘buddy’ to ease you in. Alternatively our Academy may be your pathway to membership. We are also encouraging juniors girls to join and we run programmes for them.
Social Golf
On the social side, we play friendlies against other clubs and arrange away days. We also play competitive golf within the county. When the weather is bad, we have ‘Card Club’ so we still get together. There are also club social events during the year. We would be delighted to show you around and play a few holes for you to see what West Essex Golf Club has to offer.
